Anna McKenna Obituary

Douglas- Anna DeCristofaro McKenna, 33, of Depot St. passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday April 21, 2024.

     She is survived by her husband of two years Bryan A. McKenna; her parents Gene and Joann (Morganti) DeCristofaro of Northbridge; her three siblings David B. DeCristofaro, Cassie DeCristofaro, and Daniel G. DeCristofaro all of Northbridge; her birth mom who gifted them with Anna, Carrie Anna McLaughlin of Florida; her in-laws Kevin and Jody McKenna of Shrewsbury and aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Born in Syracuse, NY on September 9, 1990, Anna was raised in Hopkinton. She was a graduate of Whitinsville Christian High School, Framingham State University and received her Registered Nursing Degree from Laboure’ College in Milton. 

     Anna worked as a Registered Nurse in the Oncology Department at Boston Medical Center. Previously she was employed at Boston Children’s Hospital in Research and Development and as a waitress at Joe’s Bar and Grill in Natick. Anna loved to travel. Some of her favorite places were Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, the Finger Lakes, Winthrop Beach and Disney World. She loved camping, the beach, and was “everybody’s best friend”. Anna will be remembered as a beautiful, witty, compassionate, loyal and loving daughter, sister, wife and friend.

     Her funeral service at Pine Grove Cemetery in Whitinsville will be private and held at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bridge Metrowest Church, 7 Strathmore Road, Natick, MA on Saturday, May 4th @1 PM .
